CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF COMMUNITY BUILDING
Since 1960, The Legado Companies and our affiliates have built and operated significant real estate assets in Southern California, including more than 12,000 residences and 400,000 square feet of retail and entertainment amenities.
We have amassed incomparable expertise in navigating complex approval processes, negotiating mutually beneficial public-private partnerships, and pursuing innovative financing arrangements.
The Legado Companies are guided by an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, stewardship, and community-building. We have succeeded by listening to stakeholders, identifying unique alignments of interest, and carefully considering the impacts of our actions on the next fifty years of our business.
We are currently pursuing more than ten catalytic redevelopment projects in the communities of Channel Islands Harbor, Encino, Culver City, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, and Redondo Beach.

By appointment of the State Treasurer, Edward served on the California Housing Finance Advisory Committee, which establishes policy and procedures for the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee and the California Bond Debt Limit Allocation Committee. He also chaired the Affordable Housing Committee for the State and is a past-president of the Multi-Family Housing Council of the Greater Los Angeles Building Industry Association.
